Services

Sessions are typically 50 minutes, but therapy doesn’t always fit neatly into a clock. Sometimes we reach a natural stopping point before the session is over, and there can be value in giving an important thought or realization some space rather than filling every available minute. At other times, we may need a little longer to finish what we’ve started. My goal is to remain attentive to where you are and what the moment calls for. The time we spend together should support the work we’re doing—not define it.

Sessions

Scheduling and Cancellations

Whenever possible, we’ll find a regular appointment time that works for both of us. That time is reserved specifically for you and provides consistency for the work we do together.

I understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give me at least 24 hours’ notice. I’ll do my best to find another available time that same week so that, whenever possible, we can reschedule rather than miss a session altogether.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, are generally charged the full session fee. I also recognize that genuine emergencies happen and sometimes make advance notice impossible. In the event of a serious, unexpected emergency affecting you or a loved one, the late-cancellation fee may be waived.

My goal is to have a policy that respects the time we’ve set aside for your care while also leaving room for the realities of life.

Fees and Insurance

I offer therapy on a private-pay, out-of-network basis.

Insurance imposes rigid guidelines around diagnoses and the type(s) of therapy we can explore.

Because I don't report to insurance providers that means we have the flexibility to work together as often as we need to, for as long as we need to, without limiting the type of therapy, and as a result we universally get better outcomes.

Additionally, it means that you can get in to see me much sooner than an in-network therapist. Like months sooner.

If your insurance provider reimburses for out-of-network therapy, I can provide you with a Superbill, which is an itemized list of treatment that can be submitted for reimbursement.

Therapy sessions are $125 for an individual and $200 for a couples session.

A limited number of reduced-fee (sliding scale) appointments may be available based on financial need. Please feel free to inquire about current availability
